15 Figures

Sculpture, 2014

The idea came from the daily press cuttings. The cuttings are from the days of the conflict in Syria, the 7 black is group 1, group 2 the yellow figures are the daily life in northern Europe during the same period. All our visual information are flat images, one-dimensional both physically and mentally, fixed images which they lived. The exercise would be to give these pictures a room, to make them three-dimen- sional and how it provides another metaphysical level. It did not go further than sketches and exercises. Group 3 the 3 aquamarine/blue green. In this phase, assistants had to pose for direct spatial exercises, in order to train the under- standing of the figure in the space.
